National Honour for Prabhjeet Singh as Punjab Secures Top Spot in Career Advisor App
Rupnagar, 25 April: A proud moment for Punjab and especially Rupnagar district as Prabhjeet Singh, District Guidance Counsellor, Rupnagar, received national appreciation during the Two-Day National Capacity Building Programme on Effective Implementation of Skill Education Initiatives under Samagra Shiksha, held on 23–24 April, 2026 at Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education, Bhopal, where Punjab was also recognized for securing first position in implementation of the My Career Advisor App.
Representing Punjab at the national-level programme, Prabhjeet Singh was appreciated for his contribution towards strengthening career guidance initiatives through effective implementation of the Career Advisor App. This recognition reflects the dedication and teamwork of Punjab and has brought pride to Rupnagar district.
The valedictory session was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Rajeev Dixit. Distinguished academicians including Prof. Floret G. Dkhar, Dr. Deepak Paliwal and Prof. Shailja Dixit highlighted the importance of skill education, career guidance and NEP 2020 during the programme.
District Education Officer (SE) Prem Kumar Mittal and Deputy DEO Inderjit Singh congratulated Prabhjeet Singh on this national appreciation and termed it a proud achievement for the district. The recognition has added another milestone to Rupnagar’s contributions in education and student career guidance.
