Government Middle School Bhoje Majra Achieves National Recognition in Green School Program

Rupnagar, 4 February : Government Middle School Bhoje Majra has brought immense pride to Block Salura and the Rupnagar district by securing a national-level certificate under the prestigious Green School Program, organized by the Centre of Science and Environment (CSE). The award ceremony was held at the esteemed India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on February 4, 2025.

The certificate was received by the school’s dedicated Science teacher, Mr. Prabhjeet Singh, in recognition of the school’s outstanding efforts in promoting environmental sustainability. He was accompanied by Mr. Harpreet Singh, the school incharge, and Mr. Parvinder Singh, an associate teacher, both of whom played significant roles in the school’s achievement.

This remarkable accomplishment places Government Middle School Bhoje Majra among the six schools from Rupnagar selected at the national level. Adding to the honor, it was the only school from Block Salura to achieve this distinction, showcasing its exemplary commitment to eco-friendly practices and environmental education.
