Rupnagar: It is a matter of great pride for District Rupnagar that four students from government schools have been selected for the prestigious National INSPIRE Award, bringing honour to the district.
The selected students are:
• Dilpreet Singh – Government Middle School, Bhoje Majra
• Nitasha – Government High School, Raipur
• Gurnoor Singh – Government Senior Secondary School, Makrauna Kalan
• Harmanjot Kaur – Government Senior Secondary School, Makrauna Kalan
This remarkable achievement has been made possible under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Prabhjeet Singh, Mr. Jagjit Singh and Dr. Manpreet Kaur, who mentored the students and encouraged them to develop innovative scientific ideas.
The achievement was appreciated by Mr. Jatinder Singh, School Incharge of Government Middle School Bhoje Majra; Mrs. Gursharan Kaur, Cluster Principal Bhoje Majra; Mrs. Seema Devi, School Incharge of Government High School Raipur; and Mr. Balwant Singh, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Makrauna Kalan.
Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal, District Education Officer, Rupnagar and Mr. Inderjit Singh Dy. DEO congratulated the students and their mentors and appreciated their efforts in promoting scientific temperament among students.
