Tejinder Singh Baaz’s script received the best script award in the National Science Drama  Tejinder Singh Baaz, a science teacher of Government High School Barsalpur, was awarded the best script in the National Science Drama Competition held at the National Science Center New Delhi. Awarded the Script Writer Award. Mr. Baaz and the team were honored by the headmaster and other teachers on reaching the school. On this occasion, the head teacher of the school Mr. Rajesh Kumar said that the script of Tejinder Singh Baaz’s play “Chanan Varga Sach” based on the theme of ‘food security’ was awarded as the best script among the teams of different states. Which is a matter of pride for the school and the whole of Punjab. Further,Baaz thanked Deputy Director Mrs. Shruti Shukla and State Resource Person Dr. Raminderjit Kaur from the bottom of their heart and said that they supported us in every way by choosing us. I will also be indebted to District Education Officer (SEC) Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal. At this time, Chairman of School Management Committee Harvinder Singh also came to congratulate Baaz. School staff members Sarabjit Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Sarabjit Kaur, Sukhdev Singh, Sandeep Kaur and parents of drama team students were also present.

ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਬਰਸਾਲਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਡਰਾਮਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੈਸਟ ਸਕਰਿਪਟ ਲੇਖਕ ਦੇ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁੱਜਣ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ‘ਭੋਜਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ’ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ‘ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਨਾਟਕ “ਚਾਨਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੱਚ” ਦੀ ਸਕਰਿਪਟ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ -ਵੱਖ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੈਸਟ ਸਕਰਿਪਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਵਾਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਜੋ ਸਕੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ।ਅੱਗੇ ਬਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸ਼ਰੂਤੀ ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਡਾ.ਰਮਿੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਅੰਤਰੀਵ ਡੂੰਘਾਣਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਹਰ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫਸਰ (ਸੈ.ਸਿ)ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਰਿਣੀ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ।ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਕੂਲ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈੱਟ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਬਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈਆ ਦੇਣ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਸਕੂਲ ਸਟਾਫ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੰਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਟੀਮ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
