DEO Prem Kumar Mittal Congratulates Students as Rupnagar Excels in PSEB Class 12 Results 2026

District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Prem Kumar Mittal congratulated students, parents, principals, and teachers of Rupnagar for the outstanding performance in the Punjab School Education Board Class 12 examinations 2026. He said that the remarkable results achieved by students of the district reflect the dedication of teachers, hard work of students, and continuous efforts being made to improve the standard of education in government schools.

Rupnagar district created a proud moment as six students secured positions in the Punjab State Merit List, including five students from government schools and one student from a private school.

Leading the district’s achievement is Kritika Dhuppar of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Takhatgarh, who scored an impressive 497/500 (99.40%) and secured Punjab Merit Rank 7th. The school is headed by Incharge Paramjit Kaur (Lecturer Punjabi).

Another shining performer, Anvi Gautam of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nangal, scored 493/500 (98.60%) and secured Punjab Merit Rank 17th under the leadership of Principal Vijay Bangla.

Rajni Devi from PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Kahanpur Khuhi, secured 487/500 (97.40%) and achieved Punjab Merit Rank 117th. Principal Anil Kumar Joshi congratulated the student for the remarkable success.

Pushpinder Kaur of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Takhatgarh, also brought pride to the district by scoring 485/500 (97.00%) and securing Punjab Merit Rank 188th.

The only private school student in the district merit achievers list, Arshdeep Kaur from DAV Senior Secondary School Rupnagar, secured 484/500 (96.80%) and achieved Punjab Merit Rank 235th under the guidance of Principal Sangeeta Devi.

Palvinder Kaur of Government Senior Secondary School, Ghanauli, also excelled with 484/500 (96.80%) and secured Punjab Merit Rank 277th. Principal Indu appreciated the student’s dedication and hard work.

Deputy District Education Officer Inderjeet Singh appreciated the determination and commitment shown by the students. He encouraged students to continue striving for excellence and wished them success in their future academic journey.

Principal DIET Rupnagar Monika Bhutani expressed happiness that five students from government schools secured positions in the Punjab Merit List. She said this achievement proves that government schools of Rupnagar are continuously progressing towards academic excellence through the dedicated efforts of teachers and school heads. She also congratulated the private school student who made the district proud and wished all students a bright future.

DRC Rupnagar Vipin Kataria stated that the outstanding performance of students has brought honour to the district and reflects the continuously improving education standards in Rupnagar schools.
