A seminar was conducted at Government Special Model High School on use/non-use of waste plastic. Dr. Reena Chadha, who arrived as a special speaker, gave suggestions on how to reduce the use of plastic products in the students’ lives and students should limit their consumption to only pen/pencil box plastic and as much as possible.
A cloth bag should be used while going to the market. In this program, retired science teacher Foran Chand, Madam Poonam, Madam Vandana and teacher Rakesh Kumar from the school participated in this seminar. 100 students participated in this program and the students also took a pledge to use less plastic in future and clothes bags were also distributed by the organization.
School head Rajesh Singh Rana thanked the visiting chief speaker and was also honored.
