Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced through a Facebook post that, keeping the intense heat in mind, the timing of all government offices and schools across Punjab will be changed from Monday, May 25.
According to the announcement, all government offices, schools, and classes will function from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM until further orders. The decision has been taken to protect students, teachers, and government employees from the ongoing summer heatwave.
