Nangal (Rupnagar), 27 December : Students of Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Nangal, Punjab delivered an impressive performance in the International Maths Olympiad 2025, organized by the Maths Olympiad Foundation and Examination results were announced recently.
Students from Classes 6 to 12 actively participated and demonstrated excellent mathematical aptitude.
From Class 6, Meenakshi secured a Bronze Medal, while Suneha, Pratigya, Divya, Gurleen, Alisha, Devanshi, Daman Preet, Akshi, and Parmeet earned participation certificates.
From Class 7, Sonam won a Bronze Medal, and Anchal, Sanjana, Vanshika, Khushi, and Kamalpreet received certificates for their participation.
From Class 8, Komal participated and was awarded a certificate.
From Class 9, Chandra Rashmi, Rajni, and Navita represented the school and received participation certificates.
From Class 10, the school achieved remarkable success as Ritika won a Gold Medal, Gunika Gautam secured a Silver Medal, and Vaishnavi earned a Bronze Medal. Other participants from Class 10 who received certificates include Kritika, Harsimran Kaur, Kiran Choudhary, Bhumika, Anchika Thakur, Harpreet Kaur, Khushdeep Kaur, Arshiya Choudhary, Neetu Devi, Nisha, Smiksha, Rohini, Palak Saini, Simran, Manvi, Arushi, Akshra Saini, Sukhveer, Devanshika, and Diksha Rana.
From Class 12, Khushi achieved a Bronze Medal, while Jashika, Mansi, Navjot Kaur, Komal, Samiksha, Shagun, and Anvi Gautam were awarded participation certificates.
The students were guided and motivated by Ms. Ruchika Sharma, whose dedicated mentoring played a crucial role in the students’ success. Commerce Lecturer Mr. Sunil Kumar also extended academic support and encouragement to the participants.
On this proud occasion, Principal Mrs. Vijay Bangla, along with all staff members of Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Nangal, congratulated all the students for their commendable performance and specially appreciated the sincere efforts of guide teacher Ms. Ruchika Sharma. The staff encouraged the students to continue working hard and to keep achieving greater heights in the future.
