Block-Level Orientation Programme on Safety and Security Successfully Conducted Across All Government Schools of Rupnagar

Rupnagar, 22 December : The block-level orientation seminar on Safety and Security was successfully conducted in all schools across the district, marking an important step towards strengthening awareness and preparedness among teachers and school authorities.

As part of the monitoring and support process, Mr. Inderjit Singh, Deputy District Education Officer, Mr. Prabhjeet Singh, District Guidance Counsellor, and Mr. Vivek Kumar Sharma, District Resource Person, visited various blocks including Mianpur Block, Salora Block, and Ropar-2 Block to review the conduct of the programme and interact with the participants.

The visiting officials appreciated the efforts of school heads, block officers, and teachers for ensuring the smooth and disciplined conduct of the orientation programme. The sessions focused on key aspects of student safety, child protection, and implementation of safety-related guidelines at the school level.

Today, the Orientation Programme on Safety and Security was carried out successfully in all blocks, reflecting strong coordination among block officials and active participation from schools. The initiative was well received and is expected to further strengthen the safety framework in educational institutions across the district.
