Rupnagar, 14 January: A science model competition under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan was successfully held today at Government Senior Secondary School, Jhallian Kalan. The event, conducted under the guidance of Mr. Sanjeev Gautam (District Education Officer, Secondary Education) and Block Nodal Officer Mr. Rajinder Singh (Principal, Government Senior Secondary School, Jhallian Kalan), witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of grades 6 to 8 from various schools in the block Salura, district Ropar.

Event Highlights
The event was graced by the presence of Block Resource Coordinators Mr. Gurmeet Singh and Mr. Ravinder Singh, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers. The hospitality provided by the school was applauded, with special recognition given to Mrs. Sheetal Chawla (Hindi Mistress), Mrs. Harinder Kaur (Science Mistress), and Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur (Math Mistress) for their excellent arrangements. The management team, led by Mr. Avatar Singh, Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Mr. Narinder Singh Banga, and Mr. Gurpreet Singh, ensured the event’s smooth execution.
The top three winners in each theme were awarded trophies and certificates. All participants enjoyed a delicious lunch, fostering camaraderie and collaboration among students and teachers.
This competition proved to be an inspiring platform for young minds to innovate and contribute to science and society.
