Flight of Dreams: An Unforgettable Journey “A dream is not what you see in your sleep; a dream is something that does not let you sleep.”

January 25, 2026, marked the day this sentiment became a reality for a group of 50 ambitious students. Our Education Department organized an enriching exposure trip to the historic “Pink City” of Jaipur. In a particularly thrilling highlight, 15 of these meritorious students were selected to travel by air—a first-time experience that sparked immense joy and anticipation. I felt privileged to accompany our Principal, Mr. Neeraj Verma, and Lecturer, Mr. Arun Kumar Sharma, on this incredible journey.
Exploring the Pink City:
Upon arrival, we were joined by the remaining 35 students who traveled by bus. Our guide and organizer, Mr. Jatin, greeted us with a warm welcome. After a refreshing breakfast at the Aditya Hotel, we set out to discover the heritage of Jaipur.

Our first stop was the Albert Hall Museum, nestled in the Ram Niwas Garden. We learned that the city’s iconic hue dates back to 1876, when Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II ordered the buildings to be painted terracotta pink to welcome Prince Albert Edward. To this day, the city wears this color as a badge of hospitality.
We also paused to admire the Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of Winds,” with its intricate honeycomb windows designed for royal ladies to observe the street festivals unseen. Later, we stopped by the serene Jal Mahal, which appeared to float magically in the center of Man Sagar Lake, offering a perfect moment for reflection.
Spiritual and Architectural Wonders:

The following days were a whirlwind of culture.
We visited the soulful Ajmer Sharif Dargah and the sacred Pushkar Nath Temple.
A visit to the Khatu Shyam Mandir offered the students a deeper connection to our traditions.
On our final day, we explored this majestic residence of Rajput Maharaja Man Singh, the Amer Fort The stunning fusion of Rajput architecture left the students in awe.

A Lasting Impact:
The trip was so captivating that many students were reluctant to leave, wishing to extend their stay. This journey was more than just a tour; it was an unforgettable educational milestone.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Honorable D.E.O., Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal Ji, and all the dignitaries who made this possible. A special thanks goes to Mr. Vipin Kataria Sir for granting me the opportunity to join this memorable expedition.
Recommendation: To inspire future batches, I suggest that photos and short video highlights of this exposure trip be uploaded to the official PSEB website. Seeing the joy and learning experienced by these students will surely motivate others to strive for excellence.
