National Quiz for Mentors & Students Announced by BIS
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), India’s National Standards Body established in 1987, has announced the organization of a National Quiz on Standards for both mentors (teachers) and students (Standards Club members) on 5th September 2025 (Teacher’s Day) under the leadership of Sh. Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS), Director General, BIS.
The initiative is part of BIS’s mission to engage the younger generation with quality, safety, science, and standardization through Standards Clubs across schools in India. Many schools in Rupnagar district are actively running such clubs, motivating students and teachers alike to participate in the event.
Quiz Schedule
Mentors (Schools): 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Students (Standards Club Members): 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
