Teachers Display Creativity and Innovative Teaching Skills Across Multiple Themes
Rupnagar, December 20 — The District Level Teacher Fest for the academic session 2025–26 was successfully organised at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar, with the support of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab. The event was held under the guidance of District Education Officer (Secondary), Rupnagar, Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal, and Deputy District Education Officer, Mr. Inderjit Singh, and under the overall supervision of District Resource Coordinator (DRC), Rupnagar, Mr. Vipin Kataria.
The primary objective of the Teacher Fest was to promote innovation, creativity, and effective teaching-learning practices among teachers and to encourage the use of modern pedagogical tools and real-life applications in classroom teaching.
The competition was evaluated by a panel of experienced educators and academic experts. The judges included Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Principal, Bharatgarh; Mr. Pawan Kumar, Principal, Salempur; Ms. Harpreet Kaur, Headmistress, Garhbagga; Ms. Davinder Kaur, Lecturer (Physics), SOE Rupnagar; Mr. Ravinder Singh, Lecturer (English), Kheri Salabatpur; Mr. Vivek Jalota, Lecturer (Mathematics), Boormajra; Mr. Parlad Singh, Lecturer (Punjabi), Bajrur; Mr. Ajay Arora, BRC Morinda; and Mr. Chander Shekhar, BRC Morinda.
The stage proceedings were efficiently conducted by Ms. Mandeep Kaur, Lecturer (Mathematics), who served as the Stage Secretary.

Throughout the event, DRC Rupnagar Mr. Vipin Kataria closely monitored the proceedings and appreciated the enthusiasm, innovation, and professional commitment of the participating teachers. On the concluding day, he awarded prizes, trophies, and medals to the winners of various themes and congratulated them on their outstanding performances.
The winners were encouraged to represent the district at the State Level Teacher Fest. All participants were appreciated for their efforts and dedication. The Teacher Fest 2025–26 emerged as an inspiring platform for sharing best practices, strengthening professional skills, and enhancing the quality of education in the district.
