Nangal, February 7: Under the guidelines of Education Minister Punjab S. Harjot Singh Bains Ji and under the supervision of District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Rupnagar Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal Ji and Deputy District Education Officer Mr. Inderjit Singh Ji, Parents Workshop 2.0 (PTM) was organized at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nangal under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Vijay Bangla Ji. This workshop was organized on February 7, 2026 from 9:30 AM under the topic “Exam Preparation – Shared Responsibility”.
The main objective of this workshop was to strengthen the bond between parents and teachers so that the exam preparation, mental support and academic progress of the girl students could be further improved. During the PTM, parents were given detailed information on creating a suitable and positive environment for their children’s studies at home, making a proper time plan and keeping them mentally strong during the examination.
The teachers shared important suggestions regarding the academic progress of the girl students, exam preparation plans and study with the parents. During the workshop, special emphasis was laid on the fact that the joint role of parents and teachers is very important for the success of the girl students.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Vijay Bangla Ji, said that the role of parents is fundamental in the education and overall development of the girl students. He appealed to the parents to create a conducive, calm and inspiring study environment for the girls at home and provide them with complete mental support during the examination.
Finally, on this occasion, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Vijay Bangla Ji, thanked the entire school staff and the training teachers, Mrs. Anita Dogra, Mrs. Ruchika, Mrs. Kailash and Mr. Dishant Mehta, for the success of the workshop.
