Parents’ Workshop 2.0 (PTM) Conducted at PM SHRI Government School, Kahanpur Khuhi

Kahanpur Khuhi/Rupnagar, 10 February : As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen school–parent partnership, Parents’ Workshop 2.0 (PTM) was conducted at PM SHRI Government School, Kahanpur Khuhi under the guidance of the Hon’ble Education Minister of Punjab, S. Harjot Singh Bains. The programme was organized under the supervision of District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Rupnagar, Shri Prem Kumar Mittal, and Deputy District Education Officer, Shri Inderjit Singh, with Principal Shri Anil Kumar Joshi leading the initiative at the school level.

The workshop took place on 7 February 2026 starting at 9:30 AM and revolved around the theme “Exam Preparation – A Shared Responsibility.” The session focused on encouraging meaningful collaboration between parents and teachers to support students academically and emotionally during the examination period.

Parents were sensitized on the importance of maintaining a disciplined routine at home, ensuring a stress-free learning environment, and motivating children to stay focused during exam preparation. Teachers interacted with parents to discuss students’ academic performance, preparation methods, and strategies to improve learning outcomes.

While addressing the parents, Principal Shri Anil Kumar Joshi emphasized that consistent parental involvement plays a key role in a child’s academic journey. He encouraged parents to remain positively engaged in their children’s studies and to extend continuous emotional support, especially during examinations.

The programme concluded with the Principal expressing appreciation to the school staff and parents for their active participation and cooperation, which contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the workshop.
